The Global Beer Bar, situated in front of the stage, is the place to be if you’re looking for some classic bottled beers, some innovative brews form some of the world’s most experimental breweries and a small (OK, two) but rather amazing selection of cask ales from the US and UK.

Over the years, the Global Beer Bar has brought you, the discerning and open-minded drinker, some of the best beers that the world has to offer. Trappist classics, big German bocks, cloudy orange wheat beers, mouth-tingling fruit beers, massive hoppy U.S. IPAs, some frankly quite weird Belgian stuff and some of the most exciting new brews from our own shores.

You’ll be glad to hear that this year is no exception. In the spirit of this year’s Great Inventions theme, we are hoping to have some really innovative brews on offer. Oak aged IPA, smoked porter, bourbon stout and single hop beer, to name a few. Add to that our usual eclectic selection of wonderful styles from here, there and everywhere – including Yorkshire – and some truly special stuff on the pumps and you’d be daft not to pay us a visit.

We’re an offie too, so bring along your jute shopper and you won’t be disappointed.
